In case your are wondering, I made this Yellow Bench about a year ago. I think it symbolizes how our days are prefilled by God and that we have such privilege to notice and admire the ample provide of goodness that our lives are brought to live in such abundance daily. I got the idea to make this yellow bench out of an old full size headframe and it's foot. Husband, Andrew, helped with the mechanics of assembly, but I did the endless sanding and staining. I love working with my hands, but mostly when it's inspirational or creative, not washing the dishes kind of thing. I have two awesome adult sons, and a new grand girl who lives too many miles away from my heart. I handle office work for our small, although growing, business and have two (the best) little she doggies that I so adore.
This is an ongoing blog that I will, as the inspiration leads, insert newer essays, prayers, and other prose.
Most of my interest lies in the out-of-hand wisdom that seems to fly about like the most beautiful butterfly I don't ever want to catch, but love that it just hangs around a few seconds more to ease my admiration filled. I believe in our Heavenly Father, His Holy Spirit, and His Son Jesus, risen alive eternal as my Savior most whole heartedly. There is just too much reason not to, I'd say as witness. I am personally aware and acknowledge my own fall and flaws, the fruit, the nut, that lies upon the ground separated from its root that carries it's seed within that can only be transformed and transferred through the same root that all beginnings of life comes as being become-d and bestowed.
My hope with this blog post is, yes, to write as to seek, and additionally, that others will join with what they feel as laid upon their hearts to share or relate, if only, for that we all do carry this desire to give of self, that others will feel more encouraged or helped to share and not be or stay isolated from our own natural fears of expression.
If there is any quick take-a-way I would emphasize here, as I thank you sincerely in advance for popping in to my blog, I would say there is specific communication our Lord speaks to us as Who He is found only in His Word. If you should read of the many verses given, please remember as a young child who can only look up that their father or mother would look toward them to respond, so is Our Father in Heaven Who will always see first that His child is desiring to seek His face.
Warm & Best Regards,
Yvette
